But that possum sure was cute too. BIG guy, OMG, big. Surprised me how big he was.   And such an adorable face!

Status: offline 		  Heavens, that would take a novel..... meh, she's going to supposedly take him for this week since school starts the following week (she had completely forgotten that school starts the 8th here and was going to take him in a few weeks. I had to, ahem, CORRECT her on that one."Stoopid" barely begins to describe her at times. "Moronic" might be a little closer to the truth.)  However, we have no idea on when or how she will be picking him up since well, she can't be bothered to call her own son. I posted in the special needs thread that we got the official diagnosis Thursday for his High Functioning Autism and another issue. So there's been a complete change in his diet, I've removed all artificial colours, flavours, sulfites, sulfates and anything I can't personally identify from his food plus he's now taking some supplements that the doctor recommended. Doesn't like the chewable vitamin but oh well, I got the best I could find. Highly absorbable.

She did make it to the meeting Thursday, of course she dragged her social worker along. OH! And she admitted she's still seeing Thing, and Mini-Thing, the ones who openly admitted to abusing Mr. Smarties. Oh ya.... "moronic" might not be enough to describe her. I just shake my head at someone who still dates and stays with the person who admitted to abusing her child. Something like that is beyond me.

twue possum story.  i rented this amazing place in the woods (double decks, hot tub with amazing views, 2 fireplaces and a sunroom), when i first moved back to tn. The problem was the landlord was over the top ubber religious and i didnt goto church with her (Strike one). We jokingly called her the "soup natzee" as she would randomly come in the house inspect and leave her homemade soup, like on my nightstand, or computer desk or maybe the refrigerator for us. BUT everytime she did, she would leave a nasty note telling me the trash needs to be taken out, the kids need to pick up their toys, on and on.  Soup natzee and i agreed that we would share responsibility of feeding her cat and mine. She had hand painted this metal garbage can (really cool actually) and that is where we stored the cat food, outside top deck. It even had bungee cords so the possums couldnt get into it. So exhausted as hell for many nights i kept hearing this massively annoying noise coming from outside. Finally one night i got up went outside and there was a possum inside the cat food can eating. So i quickly closed the lid and retied the bungee cords, thinking i would take him far away into the woods the next day. Being ubberly exhausted i forgot to take him for about three maybe four days.  That is when soup natzee decided to refill can with cat food!!!!!  ROFLMAO my neighbors heard her and the possums screams several hundred yards away!!!!!   
OOOOOOPPPPPSSS!  needless to say there was a two page nasty letter and "no soup for you" ever again.

would have done about anything to have seen her face when she opened the lid!   muhahahhahahahaha

Status: offline 		Get a hand of ginger from your grocery store (you know how to pick this out, right?), a lime, and some honey.  You want to cut up about half of the hand into round discs.  Put in a put with 4 cups of water.  Boil.  Reduce to half.  Add two more cups of water and reduce to half again.  Drain.  (Please use a mesh strainer!)  Pour into mug, add half a squeezed lime's juice and 2.5 T. or more of honey (local honey is ALWAYS best!).  Drink.  Take VERY hot shower.  Go and rest.  (You now have half to drink later!)

I do NOT want to hear ANY whinging about how is tastes.  It is GOOD for you, so suck it up Buttercup!

Well, if you have a chest virus, there is no remedy except your own immune system.  But for some reason (maybe one of the nurse-type people around here can explain) it really helps with the creeping crud stuff.  I think that it may be because your body works extra hard at fighting it off because it fears having more of it.  Well, it is a theory at least.

Status: offline 		my whatever it is , comes from my low immunity from being so overly stressed the last few weeks. i have my aroma therapy oils (tea tree, eucalyptus, ginger, grapefruit etc) along with my dead sea salts, which i i will be soaking in shortly. my mother earth pillow. Now if only i had some homemade chicken noodle soup.......waaaaahhhh.

Status: offline 		Well, tonight I am actually grilling steaks.  This happens only a couple of times a year.  But I am also fixing cheese and spiniach stuffed portabella mushrooms, baked potatoes (no potato comments LovingPet!), salad, and rolls.  (And I bought a NEW Snickers bar Hahaha!)  But I have the fixings for chicken soup if you will tell me when you will be here, and how many will be with you!    I can even make the ginger root tea for you!
