All I find that I really want at this point from CM is to hang in the forums with My friends. We had a dog who became extremely fussy with what it ate. Nothing we put down was to its liking so it wouldn't eat. For whatever reason, it's assumed hunger never did overrule its sense of smell, so it was slowly starving itself to death. Even the vet-recommended home made meals weren't working.

We searched for many months until we finally found a dry food and wet food that worked in combination. Because of the malnourished state the dog was in it developed some muscle and skeletal issues, so the vet also prescribed some powdered food additive to mix with the food.

We were nearly devastated when the manufacturer stopped making that one brand of dry food that the dog would eat. We thought it would be many months spent searching and experimenting. In the end, it didn't matter on the dry food part as the dog loved to eat the prescribed additive (which was flavored with who knows what). As long as the additive was applied, the dog ended up eating pretty much anything.

I hate that you're going through this Greedy. It's tough trying to figure out what an animal is thinking or wants when we can't understand their language.

Monkey, have you tried "KMR" (Kitten Milk Replacement)? It's a powdered milk for nursing moms & kittens that provides high protein & nutrients. Might be a suitable supplement during her "fussy times", tho it's a bit pricey ($20 for a 16oz can) but it does last awhile since the formula is 1 part formula 2 parts H20.
