Just passing through to say: FALLING IS BAD. Do not do it. Even falling a short distance, like tripping and landing BANG on your hands and knees? So that one knee is VISIBLY SWOLLEN and the other ankle is making EEP vibes and your hands hurt? IT IS BAD.

i made a grave mistake trying to pretend to be new. for THAT i am sorry. However only a select few know why i did so, there was a reason. Did anyone other than DS realize that their wasn't a visible profile listed for waitingformaster, the reason was im not looking! i went there solely to tell someone that why i will always stand behind/beside Master i do hate that they got into it, as i had always valued her input. Nice to write Him and tell Him VP, i had wanted to do that in person this weekend, simply because i could not only tell Him but show Him the profile, and it is better to do in person than to tell in an email or over the phone.

Happy Columbus Day....one more guy that wouldn't ask for directions!

Pots...it's like seriously ha-umid!!!!!!! Gonna take some time to get used to this stuff again.....heat wise, it's not hot at all, only about 85-90, which is so much better than triple digits of AZ. Which means that yep, I've already gotten a mild sunburn....don't feel the heat, more intent on getting stuff moved into storage, running around getting to know the area......forgot sunscreen....I pinked up nicely!

Still waiting for a start date, hope it comes soon.....I'm so totally bored!!!!!

Well, I did what I had to do......the job front in AZ sucked, and the job I did have is slowly being given away......the Chief decided to slowly give up our pay ad benefits, while not shouldering any pay cuts himself....AND he got a raise two years ago when no others did. It's very hard to respect someone who spouts "I'm doing everything I can for you all", only to find out that he isn't....all he did was take money away from us to save his girlfriends job...she was actually hired under a freeze, so she's the first one to be let go. When the state first started talking about budget cuts and lay-offs, I told the folks I worked with that I wasn't afraid of losing my job, rather that the department would be disbanded....everyone said "no, that can't happen, it would take a legislative act".....well apparently, the Chief has to prepare a report justifying the existence of the department......and I'm afraid it will show that the department is a drain on the budget that can be cut, will save a huge amount of money, and the state will probably offer Phoenix PD a contract to respond to the stupidity that goes on with state employees. And PPD will take it, they need the money just like everyone else.

It's not the first time I've moved around for a job.....that's usually been the reason. Although, I was really hoping that AZ would be the last.
