Chicken soup's for upper resp infections, not staph infections. But I do feel for you, I had one some years ago that required a trip to the dermatologist. I got lucky and the oral antibiotics worked but she was making noises about if it didn't, surgery and/or cauterization. All that icky stuff. I had another one this year that I started applying neosporin to from day one and it healed by itself but I was getting ready to call her when it finally started getting better.

The stooopid thing is I called Derm first and told the guy who answered that I needed an abscess drained....he offered me Dec 17th

but said he would probably call before then. I then went to Surgery Clinic and had it done right away. The scary thing is that I had NO idea that most of it was/is infection. I almost didn't go as I thought it would drain on it's own.

Soooo no chicken soup, not even for sympathy...*sighs piteously*

The worst part was actually when she was freezing the area which hurt like a bitch. Still I'm not eager to go through that again.

Wouldn't it be nice if body parts would just cooperate and BEHAVE instead of getting all independent and wreaking havoc?

Thanks, those ^%$^^% needles must have been the size of axes. I didn't actually see them but I still think that was the case.

I hate the feeling of hate. I mean..even though I say that I hate somebody I have never meant it.
However for the first time of my life I've figured out that I really really hate some people I hate them from the deepest parts of my soul..they're probably the most despicable ignorant selfish disgusting people that have ever walked on this earth in my opinion.
And the funny thing is..I don't even know these people I hate..personally.. well besides one which unfortunately happens to be a relative (whom thankfully I don't even recognize in sight nor have ever spoken to)

god I hate that feeling...still I don't know if it's more anger than hate..probably both. still sucks

i hate that my doctor is doing nothing but working against me in trying to convince my employer that i do not have h1n1.

When I was at the dr's office yesterday, there was this cool chart that listed the symptoms of H1N1 vs cold. Apparently I had H1N1 last week. I took a couple days off, napped et voila!! All better. Didn't even know I had it til I read the chart. LOL

Linea i'm sooo glad you are feeling better.....

i hate it that i feel like i'm getting worse and worse and worse and worse....i hate that i want to do something...... anything..........read............write............clean...............do the dishes.......... talk on the phone..................... walk around the apartment.......anyfreaking thing!!!!! without feeling exhausted and having to rest.... i hate that i can't even do the dishes.....
i hate that i have only left the house once this week..........................................ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i hate that i'm so sick that the doctor's office doesn't even want me to come in............................................................................

Awww, Linnea, You have no idea how much that means to me..... Especially since i am now all alone in the apartment....Which i would have sold His left arm for previously.... But, now that i'm sick.......... i don't know.....i'm beginning to worry that there is no world outside of our apartment and the two cats.... And sadly Willow is not doing her part to keep me entertained....

I hate that a friend of mine is so damn clueless when it comes to picking men. She goes from a doofus that won't work, to one that has just asked her if it'd be "okay" if his ex-wife moves in with him until the first of the year, so she can get back on her feet. She is a former crackhead, and when my friend asked him if he trusted her, he said no. WTF, then??
