jim will be frantic with worry, likely, as it is. don't make him look for you in the snow.

have you got fireplaces? stove? kettle barbecue? anything to generate some heat?

what a helluva way to learn to operate your phone.

No Holly, stay where you are. Think about it, if Jim can't get home with the four wheel drive, what hope do you have of getting out safely? You'll just get stuck. Better to at least have shelter.

Status: offline 		Or out there somewhere and even worse off. It's really hard to say which is worse, it seems like 6 of one, half a dozen of the other. Still I would imagine that inside there is less wind and therefore warmer.

Unfortunately not quite

My patio door was open all night during whilst I studies and still is...at times I am sitting here in my t-shirt...

So seems there is no escape route for my exam on monday

So I have to rely on my short term memory

And thanks for your suggestion Jeff...but nope...transferring to an american Uni now within 24 hours is NOT an option...nice thought, though

We are having my daughters birthday party today instead of tomorrow so her friends can terrorize us.  Hopefully they get a chocolate cake with butter cream icing.

Sorry to read that honey...I do hope that it won't take longer to get your power back as Richards power is off now since over a week...any chance to get a generator???

He got one but that damn thing only worked for a day and then broke down as well

Regarding going out or not if I would know friends or family in an area not affected I would go to them until power gets back, thats what Richard does over the weekends

Last year in february it came on time and their exam date had to get moved...lucky them

On the plus side I do know...it is best to get it out of the way

My organising skills for it were just wrong and I wasted far too much time on organising stuff I don't need Damn unorganised patterns which I experience in my final year

I've never heard of anyone getting hypothermia at home.

I agree Steven, snow insulates so she and the LO should be at least fairly warm. It's different if it's bitterly cold but there is no snow. With all the snow they should, at least in theory, be okay as long as they have lots of supplies. Still I wish she would post something, I'm worried.
