nice. i like the philosophy.

in much the same rationale. i did a flannel quilt out of all my dad's old flannel shirts the month i was home, after he died. mom helped me. there's a big red blocky heart of his fave red shirt, plus stars in a circle to show all those people that prayed all over the world. mom turns it over and sleeps with it against her so she can feel he's always with her.

making things distracts the mind, makes us feel we're accomplishing something and is a repository for love and prayers, i figure.

you're a wonderful woman, fluffy. i hope you always remember that.

i find that having something to make helps time pass and gives me a goal for the future.

Someone once said that the definition of depression is not being able to imagine a future.

i refuse to be consumed by depression - at least most days.

excellent philosophy. i'll have to think on that myself....

i like listening to audio books while i'm making things too. especially if i'm feel myself thinking too deeply in bad directions. murder mysteries always cheer me up for some reason!!

i like murder mysteries because i feel as if i am participating with the detective in solving it. Regular novels just give it all to you.

Me neither...when I knitted my socks some years ago my mother had to do the beginning the heel and the toes...in between is ok, but only if I dont let anything fall down form those woollen lines...apart from that I got today an essay back where I was right this time when I assumed to have failed...the failing itself didn't annoy me...however the attitude in the comments did...one of them was far exaggarated and if she wouldn't have exaggarated it that much I might have even passed...so great...doing that crap once again to hopefully get through with the september assessment board

well, its just the feedback itself which knocked me off a bit. I don't mind to re-do that crap but practically it would have been more then fair enough to let me pass on that one...

Also what frustrates me is that I have the best placement you could wish for in regards to the staff on there...I really couldn't have gotten a better one...but in regards to using case studies from my placement for the essays it is not an easy one...as simply case studies which are going on at other placements are easier to evaluate and to work on it...

However, just rewriting the crap she marked me down on (is no need to improve the other parts as you only get a D- when you resubmit anyway) and then resubmitting it to (hopefully) get through with the september assessment board then...next month we get the exam results back from last week...wait and see what that one will bring...

Now I need to find something to write a report on for the next essay, which again is not that easy in regards to my placement...its just that students who work with drug users or youth offending team they have more choice what to write about...

but well...I keep my fingers crossed to get my final needed C on that damn report to get the final result I always wanted...(or on my exam, but that I seriously doubt).

However, enough ranting now...time to get some cleaning done...when I already dared to skip the rest of uni for today....just not my day today...and still a long way to go with night shift tonight and tomorrow night and placement on day times...weeeeeeekend...please come faster this week
