Since the new security guidelines on getting into the chatrooms I have not been able to get in either through ICE or the main site in JAVA. I get through to the part that includes putting in my pass word, which is excepted, then when I go to the list and choice a room I am denied access.

Please assist me

same problem shows pw accepted but can not get in chatrooms. Where do we go to get this matter fixed

I haven't been able to get in for weeks. For years I've been able to access by merely clicking the button, now when I click I get an almost blank page that has a button that tells me to download Adobe's Flash Player. My computer won't download it though. It's a crippled old WindowsME that I'm using until the next Black Friday sales.

Before having trouble getting into the rooms, while I was there we kept having floods that the ops had to deal with. I know someone's changing things to help with security and I'm trying to not whine too much, but darn I miss my favorite chatrooms.

A few days ago, I saw that someone in the message boards typed a walk through of signing up for IRC, and yesterday I went looking for it but didn't locate it yet...and then I heard from others that those on IRC are also having troubles and figured what's the point? If anything eventually works, I hope my computer is up to trying it. If it requires flash player, then I'm out of luck.

Well, after reviewing the other comments about the chat room, it appears there is no tech support available for members at this site. But I will still post in the off chance someone has an idea. I have been able to access the video chat. I was trying to get my web cam to work when I must have clicked the wrong thing. Suddenly, the entire chat window went silver. I can barely see icons and and the small pics of people chatting, but I cannot see a single bit of text. I am GUESSING that somehow I made the text color the same as the silver scream color. But I am really not sure. Does anyone know how to reset all chat room settings back to 'original? Thank you.

Does anyone know how to access the collarme chat rooms using one of the IRC clients? What is the server address? If i have that, i can access the chat that way. Please either respond here to in a message to my mailbox.

Thanks for any help you can give.

I think for now, Collarme has lost a lot of folks with all these major changes. i hate to admit but i am bailing ship too... i will have to look at other websites until my friends all YIM me to say this garbage is fixed. Sorry Collarme, but enough is enough already... JAVA was just fine til y'all tinkered with it
