optrists Did you try mailing Bluefyre?
I am not sure if people can mail others if there profile is pending and waiting review but give that a try.
I know if they are on pending they can access the groups but as you heard Blue say they are almost never here.
Can they access the Chatroom? Not sure on that one myself. Every so often there is a mod on there.
From memory I am aware over the years reading this one here and on other sites some profiles that are on pending shouldn't be. The Void may very well be real in the case of those profiles - a glitch somewhere that no one can see.
If you and others beleive you have fallen into The Void What you can do is create another Profile but use a different username, email and password - read through another mods and ex mods replies.
If in the past you annoyed a previous mod or their friends they may have banned for a good reason, or a nonsense reason, but as blue said since a certain date there is no ban reason next to the profile so the new mods wont be able to see why.
I suspect the mods are simply unaware this has happened to many people and I am beginning to suspect this may happen to only Legacy profiles.
But, if you were here before the site went down for a year or more you should still be here. The problem might (might!) be down to some programming glitch.
Over the years on various sites; here, FL, Disc, I have read this happening to well over 20 users.
Because I had read so many I decided to see what happens.
I switched my pictures - my profile went to pending - that was approved in less than 3 days.
I added a fullstop or took one from my profile - went to pending but was approved within a week.
I couldn't tell you when the approval process came into force.
A few years ago when collar gave the option of verifying yourself via picture. I did that and it went very smoothly but I don't think many members did that.
Over the last few years the number of scammer mails I have received have dwindled to zero, not that I got too many before that. I havent seen a bot, looking for money run amok, on here last few years.
There were a lot of dodgy profiles in the past, all sites have those, hence there system is more robust now - in theory.
CM wont have many mods. I think they are all voluntary and do it in their unpaid free time?
Laws have changed over the last few years. Depending which country we are all from they are all different.
CM has to follow those rules or potentially pay up fines if they don't act on these matters, which is why they now have a robust approval system.
Any questions read above or ask blnymph & OsideGirl their advice in these matters is solid bt realistically I think we have all said what we know when profiles seemingly get lost in The Void. Can todays mods see into THe VOid? That I dont know, more than possible but they need to know who to look for is my best guess.

indeed regardless of number of feet. But, as I fear you noticed already, no use here, and not because of inactived profiles.
