He sees CD returning and approaches to say something and notices her staring back at bear with unease and tentively askes what happened to your eyes and passes bear a small mirror. Bear takes the mirror and cautiously looks and is startled to find the pupils and irises are now hourglass shaped and black. He drops the mirror, turns and walks to his cabin.*
