*swings open the double doors of the weapons lab and wheels out an 8 ft diameter metal sphere mounted on top of a post wraped in copper coils. He positions it in front of the door to steerage and plugs it into the wall outlet. The lights on the ship dim as the device begins to power up and then return to normal. He presses a button and a small round hatch opens on the top of the sphere. An appendage that resembles a robotic eye attached to a stalk emerges and begins to scan over the area and the device hums with energy while glowing a strange green color* Isn't it gorgeous?

you don't want to see the cruise director unhappy on her birthday if her ship is burned down ...it won't be a pretty sight
