AS JULIET

As Juliet did
in Shakespeares play,
she watched you
as you walked away.
Her hair caught up
in the breeze,
Her red dress swirling
around her knees.

She imagined
her very own balcony scene,
played out in her minds
own movie screen.
O Master she sighs
to the night sky,
sometimes it's so hard
to say goodbye.

{Romeo Wept}

As Romeo walked away,
That sad day
Tears would not go away...
His stride hid,
That trail of tears
That could not be seen...
As his feet moved him onward...

He thought
of the night at the dance,
As they tempted fate
As thier hearts did celebrate...

But now he looks to the sky,
With tears in his eyes...
Becuase he had to say goodbye..

Ohhh -- thank you so much for your addition to my little poem. I got writers block after the second verse. I guess bella had been looking forward to that birthday dinner date so much, that she just hated to see Master go that night. she just wanted the night to go on forever. bella ran out on her balcony just in time to see Master walk away.

bella is still glowing from that special time with Master!

Oh My Stars!!! At first I thought Y/you T/two had broken up - I was in shock...whew
Then I realized that not only is subella a captivating writer, apparently so is her Master.
Well dont to Y/you both.

Ahh, there are many meanings to this poem, and bella wishes the second entry had been written by her Master. I do not know the person who wrote the additional verse, but they are beautiful words, and I thank them for being so inspired.

Master and me had just had a wonderful birthday dinner, followed by the poetry reading. Master had to make it an early night, as Monday morning He was flying out of town on business. bella's birthday weekend drew to a close, and the evening had been so wonderful, and our time together brief. bella just had to catch one last glimpse of Master, and she ran out on the balcony, just as Juliet did after her Romeo. As she watched Him walk out of sight, bella felt a little sad, because she knew it would be awhile before she saw Him again, and the poem was already complete in her head before she added it to her journal. she loves those moments!

I can't tell you how large a smile this brought me today - I really enojyed the exchange between you two - the distinct voices and the two clearly seperate experiences - points of view on the same shared moment - beautiful.

Thank you once again, Kind Sir. I have not met the person who added their verse to my own, but the fact that my poetry inspired such a beautiful response makes me smile!

Have a wonderful day!
