if its more painful than enjoyable, you're doing it wrong...i love anal...when its done right...otherwise they better quit when i say quit or they are like to walk away without their balls...on the opposite end of the spectrum and back to my original point...i have begged to be anally fisted...using his cum as lubricant...but he was too tired...sigh...

what is the fascination in anal? seems to me that it would be more painful than enjoyable.

Well, considering I'm the penetrating party, and a sadist, that wouldn't be a problem, now, would it?

Anal is tighter, and generally more pleasurable, for me. YMMV.

And it's not neccessarily painful. In fact, most people prefer to do it in ways that aren't the least bit painful. I've played with myself without experiencing any pain, and I've let others do so as well, also without pain. The trick is getting the recipient a bit worked up, as relaxed as possible, and using lots and lots of lubrication. Well, there's a fair number of other tricks, too, but those are the most important ones, in my experience.

Well, either that, or you're just being sadistic. I do it both ways, depending on the recipient, but prefer being sadistic.

That certainly sucks, I can imagine. Being left high and dry is never fun.

Just one point of clarification ... is this part of the vagus nerve actually located such that it might get "pinched", or is it "wrapping" the muscle, or simply passing nearby? The former of these would seem harder to deal with.

It is passing nearby.  There is a TON of medical jargon here...but with googling some of these terms it may help.

http://www.bartleby.com/107/205.html

"On the right side, the nerve passes across the subclavian artery between it and the right innominate vein, and descends by the side of the trachea to the back of the root of the lung, where it spreads out in the posterior pulmonary plexus. From the lower part of this plexus two cords descend on the esophagus, and divide to form, with branches from the opposite nerve, the esophageal plexus. Below, these branches are collected into a single cord, which runs along the back of the esophagus enters the abdomen, and is distributed to the postero-inferior surface of the stomach, joining the left side of the celiac plexus, and sending filaments to the lienal plexus.

On the left side, the vagus enters the thorax between the left carotid and subclavian arteries, behind the left innominate vein. It crosses the left side of the arch of the aorta, and descends behind the root of the left lung, forming there the posterior pulmonary plexus. From this it runs along the anterior surface of the esophagus, where it unites with the nerve of the right side in the esophageal plexus, and is continued to the stomach, distributing branches over its anterosuperior surface; some of these extend over the fundus, and others along the lesser curvature. Filaments from these branches enter the lesser omentum, and join the hepatic plexus."

Thanks. I'll have a look at it.

Anal is truly pleasureable for me.  I've gone so far as to take objects 3-4 inches wide and 10 inches long...........although not usually both at the same time.  I've been taken with a baseball bat and been fisted up to the elbow.  It's usually a slow process to make sure there isn't severe pain or tearing.  It's hard to avoid minor tearing, but I've never had more than that.  I guess I've been lucky so far not to have any real damage or problems from it, such as leakage.  I know I'm much more stretched out than when I first started this, but it hasn't caused major problems.

By "using in air pump" did the poster mean pumping air up the backside ?
If so have I not read that that can be double plus dangerous ?
Something about air bubbles getting into the blood stream ?

Only if a perforation of the intestinal wall is created or already exists. Otherwise having a bad case of gas would be a life threatening emergency (Mexico would have the world's highest mortality rate to embolisms ). As long as the air is not pumped in with significant force, nor allowed to achieve excessive pressure, there shouldn't be an issue.

Air in the blood vessels is dangerous, but not as dangerous as people think.

That said, who cares? If you have pierced the colon, you are headed for the ER, or you will be headed to the mortuary later on when someone finds the corpse. A pierced colon requires timely treatment, and an ambulance is definitely not overreacting, unless septic shock is something you've always wanted to try. No need to join Mr. Hands in the case of Darwin vs the People, as the judge is bought and paid for. Whether there is air, or just a flood of intestinal bacteria, is really rather academic for anyone but the ER docs.

Unless, of course, you're talking about a lot more pressure than one would use for play.

The Japanese used that during WW2 to literally blow people's entrails out, though firehoses were the preferred method.

Not something to emulate for play.
