I was about to say the same thing. Excessively huge images can really eat up bandwith and also slow down the site. A lot of sites don't allow them at all, or have limits on how big an image you can post. I think with a site the size of this one (not to mention obnoxiousness[:D][:D][:D]) it's probably best to just not allow it at all, rather than try to police it and make individual decisions.
