I have always seemed to have a preference for women younger than I. My wife is eight years my younger, though by no means do I disregard the appreciation for a woman my own age older.

When you ask a loaded question such as this, expect an answer that address it. Honestly, I think its silly that everyone picks apart why does someone do this, why does someone want that. Why should we have to justify every little like and dislike we have?

This type of question confuses me. It is an open question & it is completely subjective. Yet.. they are often asked with a hidden/not so hidden attitude, almost a critique of why who wants what & what is wrong with them for wanting that. It is the kind of question that has no real answer. OP? You've asked a multitude of questions like this & I am 'nosey' as to your motivation....

To me younger simply means less propensity to have life's baggage. Yes I am older, however as a leader of MY life, I got to pick somewhat what happens to my life. As a slave, by definition you are to take what is thrust at you and the older you get the more things have been done to you. Sometimes good, sometimes VERY BAD, but in general a path dictated by others and NOT yours. SOOOOOOOOO, for me younger means less drama, trauma, more focus on the future and NOT dragged down by your past.

OK, well, here i will take a stabe at this one. I am soon to be 55 and Argent is 53. We would both like to fine a lady a good bit younger than us, in her 20's is good. Why? Because we want to make a difference in her life. Yes we want the Ds and the fun stuff and the kinky stuff, but any girl we have as a part of out home (live in, 3rd. poly ...) will be special and important to us. She will not be a casual play partner, she will be cherished and loved. We would want to help make a difference in all areas of her life. We would hope to help her grow and learn about her submissivness, her service oriented self and her pain loving self and her obdient self. We would hope to provide her a safe haven from which to learn about the bdsm world around her. We know the fact that we are that much older leaves a real chance that we will pass on before she does, by a number of years possibly, so, if she was to remain ours for that long we would hope to instill in her the self reliance and confidence to stand on her own at that time, or to choose another to serve with the knowledge that she would choose safely and wisely. My sister is in the Big/Lil sisters programand she went there for the same sort of reasons, to make a difference. And 13 yrs later, that lil sis is grown and a mom herself and still goes to my sis for guidance. Although you are drama filled and annoying in your old age, I bet you were the same when you were younger. As a matter of fact, people usually outgrow such childish behavior over the years and are far more pleasant to be around than the younger versions of themselves. So don't assume that every older woman is a pain-in-the-ass just because you are. About the only advantage to the younger girls is that gravity and bearing kids haven't taken such a toll on their bodies, so there could be a trophy aspect to snagging one. Also, a dumb older guy may stand a chance of convincing a youngster he has gained wisdom over the years. So I suppose these could be some reasons for older guys to prefer them.

For me, the dynamic is in the intellectual interactions. As stated in my profile, age isn't a hard limit, but mentality is. If we aren't compatible, it wouldn't matter your age, your education, how HAWT you are, socio-economic strata, etc. If we are teh same age, and moving is oppoosite directions, it won't work. If we're 10-20 years apart, and moving in opposite directions, it STILL won't work. If where I believe I'M headed and where you think YOU are headed are in similiar directions, then, irrespective of your age, we have something we can work with.
