Life was going well.

And then, tonight, some bad news followed by something very worrying about my parenting skills.

The bad news - Dr Who is postponed until next week, in favour of the Eurovision Song Contest.......

And then, I find my UMs..... want to watch the song contest. I've spent years trying to bring them up right, and now this.

What can I do?

Has anyone, could anyone possibly, have bigger problems?

LMAO... well maybe not quite as serious as your problem Lady Ellen... my older Um, however, has somehow rewired the house to make it into one giant server for some kind of MMORPG that he is running illegally I think... and he seems to be able to remotely access my computer from anywhere in the world...

Well, 12 yr old boy is sitting there scoring the songs. At least I thought he was scoring the songs.

Turns out, he's scoring how "hot" on a scale of 1 to 10, the lady singers and dancers are.

Finally I get to the truth of it

For a long time my um insisted on watching "Dancing with the Stars" whenever it was on.   So, I think I can empathize a bit. :)

I had a couple of friends, 2 brothers, who demolished the wall in a closet between their apartment and the next door neighbor.  They accessed his phone lines and called long distance to places like the USSR.  (This was back in the late '70's early '80's.)
