My sleep problems are fairly severe.  i have seen a sleep MD and will have a study done early in June, when i assume he will give me a final diagnosis.  However, i am already being treated for narcolepsy, restless leg syndrome and apena.

He tells me i can look forward to relief, that there is hope, and i am encouraged by this.  As i write this i have had about 4 hours' sleep and this bout of insomnia has lasted about 2 weeks.  i scarcely feel human.

i've struggled with insomnia for roughly 9 years now.  i can generally get about 3 hours at a time, be up 4 or 5 hours, then another 2 or 3.  for roughly 9 years now this has been the pattern.

chronic pain issues, plus not being able to afford medical care....if we get the insurance, we dont have enough left for dr visits and medications.  its hell to be working poor.

i make do.  i sleep when i can, the husband is fairly understanding about my sleep needs and we just go on.

kitten, who hardly ever feels completely human.
