Funny, I am reading on and on about the terrible childhoods people have, the unmet need for a parents approval, molestation, etc. Tragic and my heart goes out to you. I had what I consider, the perfect childhood. My parents were both loving, supportive, giving people, to their children and everyone around them. Still, there are times I feel like that child again..it stands to reason, I want that warm, feeling all over again. So, I guess it's safe to say it isn't always because of something that was lacking, it can sometimes be a case of something given and you don't want it to end. I am often called "girl" or "my little girl" and in a flash it brings on a mood and an incredible warmth to my heart.
