I'm curious to know if other femdoms are attracted to bondage, fetishes, etc. in and of themselves, or generally only when associated with a relationship. I have a pretty big set of fetishes, and the main ones push my buttons when presented to me in any format, regardless of whether or not a femdom is present or a femdom theme is going on. In other words, I get really turned on when I see: * An escape artist act * A hero tied up in a tv show, even if the villian is a man * Anything suggestive of breath control I am even more distracted these days, so this was on my mind. I remember when I was a teenager, I used to browse the new Fall TV show selection trying to get an indication which show promised to have the most "guys tied up." That was pre-VCR days for me, and I would sit through mindless tv shows hoping for token bondage. Even as recently as a few years ago, I got uber-obsessed with X files ONLY because I wanted to see David D trussed up and gagged as much as possible. YUM! Akasha

AAkasha, You sure do know how to make us think; for that I appreciate your posts. It was the attraction of bondage and other such things that caused me to be interested in D/s. So yes, I get all hot and bothered when I see my triggers being displayed regardless if the femdom role is being taken. Seeing those triggers usually make me want to participate instead of just watch and when all I can do is watch (as in tv or movies), well then, I still gain enjoyment from it. I am a bit of a massochist myself, so, I think not having control over the visuals is a pleasant torment...lol.

Torture scenes make me squishy. The new James Bond movie...at the end...oh my. Certain types of bondage scenes can do it for me too. As far as fetishes, leather in any context turns me on.

Akasha I'm definitely attracted to my fetishes in and of themselves. I think it's part of the reason I enjoy sports, or shows like you mentioned. Or Wonder Woman and her Lasso of Truth. Although personally I loved when Nicholas Lea and David Duchovney got into their brawls and poor little ratboy got all beat up. Yummm! <LAUGHS> Believe it or not, hair growing is a requirement. The boys will tell you. If there's any r/t potential, the question of "How do you feel about growing your hair" is bound to come up. If there is any physical requirement I have, it is hair long enough for pulling/stroking.

LOL Then there are predicament situations, leather and hoods, hair pulling...I could go on and on. There was a show/movie (damned if I can remember it) that had the two antagonists chained together and hanging from a warehouse ceiling. Of course they had to struggle to get free. OMG that was hot. My brain just kept hoping they wouldn't ever get free! I wonder how many of us specifically arrange dates around situations like this...specific movies or shows we know will trigger our hot buttons. I know I do! HOT!!
