Hi there

Wondering if anybody could help me. I'm looking for a military hat. Preferably red with black peak in pvc, vinyl or rubber. I have seen one which I want but way too expensive. At this stage I'm not too fussy about the colour, just finding it really hard to find anything. Thanks in advance

'Military hat' is a bit of a vague description. Can you be a bit more specific? which branch of the military, what style etc

I have a military hat that is black, peaked with a red broad strip around it. I also have an officers full dress uniform if anyone is interested.

Hit the second hand stores. You never know what you will find. And usualy at very reasonable prices

also if it doesn't have to be pleather, vinyl, pvc, latex, rubber you can try trident military surplus or what price glory. trident deals in soviet and nazi replica gear.

I'm not too fussed, it's for a fetish night, don't need any particular branch of military and doesn't have to be a real one. Here is one that I've seen, something similar would be great, if not, really anything would do.

you know i actually have military clothing from my army days...someone told me i should turn them into outfits...go all camo and butch. but im not butch so i dont think that fits...the latex military outfits look much better...although i do have a genuine gas mask hehe

The style you want is the style of a US Air Force officer's cap, among other things.
Here is one that is going for about $10.00 bucks on ebay.

This category on E-bay should help a lot. You will see the different styles of caps and what variety of uniforms they go with - once you have that you should be able to see if local thrift stores have them or not.

keep in mind if you buy online that you buy the right shaped size since they come in many differnet diameters.

those are also American Navy Dress Peaks

Canadian Army used to have them, i dont hink our air force ever did

and Canadian Sailors NCMs and Officers both get them

pleanty to go around id sudgest looking online

Halifax and Victoria are our two ports, so places like craigslist, usedvictoria.com etc will garner you an eyeful

and then theres always ebay

our old army was tan in color btw
and our navy ones are white with black peak
