Does anyone have any experience with Leukoplakia. I was at my routine DMD appointment today and was told I have this in certain areas of my mouth. They are pre cancerous lesions primarily found in smokers, is what I was told. I do have an appointment to see an oral surgeon for a biopsy just to make sure it is pre cancerous. < my request> I will be smoking my last cigarette tonight and will not smoke again. I have a dreaded fear of head and neck cancer. Funny, lung cancer never scared me, but this does, it scares me blind. So if anyone has had any experiences with this or has info they would share, I would appreciate it. Thanx ! mbmbn

ty Ladies [:)]. Don't fret, I am sure I am fine. The DMD said he was 99% sure they were pre cancerous, not cancerous. I am the one who asked for the biopsy, due to my fear of this type of cancer. I using all my positive energy to align my body and will be going to my accupuncturist to see if I need my chi adjusted. Yea, funny stuff for a nurse, eh? Kind of odd, Katy: I have a regular MD appointment next month and was going to ask him to give me a script for Chantix, and even picked my date to stop. I guess I am just going to have to be ahead of my own game plan. I'm kind of hoping someone has some natural/holistic advice to promote wellness in this area. Oral medicine and dentistry is not my forte. Thanx for the prayers and well wishes, I truely appreciate them. mbmbn
