Hmmmmmmm, Elorin: [I'm laughing to myself as I see the value judgements formed based on a personal pet peeve.] Wasn't your post a complete value judgement based on your personal pet peeve? Elorin: [I never said anyone was worthless, I never said I wouldn't form a relationship based on it, I specifically said that I DO give directions when they are asked for.] What you actually said, Elorin: ["This drives me insane. The ONLY time I found a reasonable reason was when a German speaking sub had JUST moved from Germany and still thought in German - even so I found the excuse rather lame."] Elorin: [but countless encounters of potential meetings where even when given the street address (#, street, city, and zip) a sub wanted me to provide driving directions - without even TRYING to find directions via a map or online first.] Oh the humanity! What's the big deal about asking for directions, and what's the big deal about giving them? Elorin: [And just because someone is irritated by something that YOU do, doesn't mean they are spoiled.] But the "something" by which they are irratated can sure make them sound like a spoiled little brat. Elorin: [This is something of a rant, something of a preference statement, something of a question.] Post it and they will respond, maybe not with parallel thinking however. Elorin: [ Entitled? Yep, I'm entitled to my own opinions, just like you.] Oh really? i give you your own words regarding others opinions; Elorin: [You should learn to read. If you weren't so petty and nasty for no reason, people might be more willing to get to know you in person.] Elorin: [ Spoiled? In many aspects, but I don't see how having an opinion makes me spoiled.] It doesn't, reason and reaction however, are defining factors. Elorin: [Thanks for the sharing from everyone who posted.] You're quite welcome, all in all, it has been a fun ride in the Land of the Lost. With Love and Respect, chia* (the pet)
