I should say you make the attempt to dance as nimbly, but with such fervor that you have merely danced around the argument (with the exception of the speculation bit). You may assert the point of bring fashionable, but I already killed that argument on your behalf stating that even if I am wrong and you are right (that things were in fact worse last year, and even worse two years prior), you still have not explained how this doesn't add up with why things have become more restrictive now (in these more lenient times), or why things that were not restricted earlier had become restricted later. That seems to contradict your point, and unsurprisingly remains open.
As for your query about me volunteering... does that have any relevance whatsoever to the discussion whatsoever?Perhaps I contribute zero time on behalf of collarme, perhaps I contribute zero revenue to site sponsors. Perhaps for the sake of this discussion I am a complete parasite with respect to my "contribution" to the site. Does that reinforce your point at all or refute mine in the least? Absolutely not. It is an irrelevant distraction from the real point: that there do exist a number of people here who devote an astronomical amount of time on this site posting, and it is more than likely that a number of these individuals would be pleased to have time to post a mere 200 messages this month instead of the usual 350 in order to have the honor and privilege of becoming a member of site staff.
So, perhaps you care to address the points at hand, or would you rather unleash more phantasmal Mongolian raids (these fierce-looking spectral arguments that come from nowhere, yet have no substance nor defensibility)?
Are you saying that because someone spends a lot of time on the site, they would automatically be acceptable to the powers that be to be a volunteer and be asked to train and follow site not personal guidelines? As far as the restrictive being moreso now, with the possible exception (and I imagine the first time the pics got through was the exception more than the rule), for the most part, it is much less restrictive. Witness the bare breasts you do see, or the male bodies being shown more.
And what do you suppose that volunteers get in the way of site privileges that you do not have? It surely is not a discount, so what else could it be? Coupled with the fact that advertising revenues are relatively new here, I would imagine that those are used with the costs in running a site FREE for 500,000 members, and since the revenue was non existent a year ago, it would be feasible to think that the volunteers are just that, volunteers, with no pay, and in large part of some of the members as yourself, no thanks.
edited to add: Your comment about 200 posts versus 350 leads me to another question. How can you have any idea of the sheer number of pictures that arrives on site every day, with a half million members that have the possibility of 14 pictures apiece, and when you see some profiles that change their pics out weekly, if not more?
