It ruins it because it's not the reaction that I want. I'll be getting the reaction I want then things will switch. I guess I can't switch gears like that. It's frustrationg and I do try to be understanding. Sometimes we take a break then try something new.

Does that line come complete with a foot stomping arms crossing and bottom lip pushed out??

I was thinking the same thing. She's going through catharsis (as Master Fire pointed out) and he's upset that the universe didn't give him the catharsis that he wanted.

Reminds me of a joke....How many Doms does it take to change a light bulb?

One, he just holds it up and waits for the world to revolve around him.

Im sorry just to me that sounded like a childs temper tanturm "But thats not how *I* wanted her to react" Didnt seem like a realistic attitude or a domly one at that.. I mean dont you think if she could controll it she would so that she could give the responce he wanted sub/slaves want to please. But seeing as she most likely cant controll it he sounds like a disgruntaled child who isnt getting exactly his way so the entire thing is no good... I dont know how this makes his sub feel but Id feel terable to have a Dom say that an entire scene was ruined because of a reaction I couldnt help.. Id feel crushed!!!!

I absolutely agree with you. I've always considered catharsis to be an amazing thing. It breaks walls down and opens me up to a fuller relationship with Master. Master has no care what form it takes, he's happy it happens.

You can always use it against her..."you thought that was funny, ha?" and continue to give it to her harder. Only know because that has happened to me, and trust me....it stopped me in my tracks.

As everyone else has said, laughing really is a way to deal with stress.

It shouldn't be that surprising.  After all people react with tears to extreme emotions, why not laughter as well?  If nothing else I'd be happy to have a sub who enjoys it so much.  Provided she wasn't doing it solely to mock me, that is.

If you're administering severe pain and you're getting laughter, she is experiencing dissociation.  There are many forms of this, they are ways of coping with trauma.  This could well be an indicator of PTSD or DID/MPD, neither of which are to be trifled with. If this person is signficant to you, have her get evaluated by a mental health professional with experience in trauma work. If she's not, just stop playing with her. From my view, it would be unethical to continue when there are significant indicators of possibly severe mental/emotional disorders until you have a firm understanding of what is going on and what the effects of your actions are.

Dear WiseCracknSadist, Ladies and Gentlemen;

Speaking with over three decades plus in the lifestyle and as a Master/Mistress and Sadist; I have found that there is no perfect slave or Master/Mistress/Sadist.  It is great if I can find a person who is 80% of what I seek.  The other 20% is what I must deal with because its all pre-packaged.

The only way you can get all you want as the way you want it, is to created it yourself.  Plastic and latex is a start.  You can play Creator and get what you want in a robotic manner.

But, as a Master/Mistress -- I can tell you plainly; that it is not all about what you want, especially when dealing with another human being.  You take all of her or none of her.  The same is with slaves of mine.  They take me all into consideration, flaws and all; to include my wonderful qualities.  Otherwise, be alone by choice and pick up partners as you journey through life.  It isn't a 'me' situation, even in S&M.  You give a person what they want as a masochist.  A person gives you what you want as a Sadist.  It is an "us" situation, relationship, dance of S&M energy.  Even so, there will never be total satisfaction--ever.

Just some thoughts.

Respectfully submitted for consideration,
Lady Hugs
