Status: offline 		       The desk is fine.  Some of the people are pretty lost though.  I've learned to put them on hold before I say "sucks to be you, don't it."

in the interest of job security, i learned that one early on...i used to talk to surgeons on the phone & when they would start yelling at me, i would start reading my magazine or doing my nails...then when it got quiet, i would tell them what i could do for them...they thought i was wonderful cause i let them yell & never argued...i don't think any of them ever figured out that i wasn't actually listening.....LOL

Status: offline 		       I'm under no obligation to take being yelled/cursed at.  I will just lean back in my chair, put my pen down, and let them express their feelings about the organization though.  Getting nasty just moves them down my priority list.

He finishes and trots back into the confines of the cave. All the while the monkey hears a choir of small Mormon Boys singing "Shock the Monkey".............

Ask me where this came from and I'll have to deny having ever been here?
