the weaves involved are rather thick, and require a good solid metal to hold up well, so its gonna be heavy.... the real question is is it gonna be too heavy for someone to wear? And that basically comes down to personal preference. hell im willing to make one out of some cheaper metal and see, thought it would be easier for me to just make the belt, then I would kno how heavy it is :P

Status: offline 		true plus it could be an additive to your armor for SCA if need be and if its not that heavy it could make for a good mini pattern for a collar

I am, in fact, quite squishy. But it makes for great lines when in corsets.

Status: offline 		There was a designed I sorta sidelined a while back, for a chain vest, with leather under it... I want at some point to make a leather vest covered in chain, and am going to build some designs for my leather jacket... leather and metal just go so well together
there are possibly some designs I could come up with to make SCA-approved armor using chainmail... just have to find em :P
