Valkyrie, Virago -- do they look these names up before they use them?

They probably dont, however the symbols for both do look really cool in Japanese, that might have something to do with it

Dono if they look up these name before they use them or not, but when I ride up to my Viking combat training for our historical reenactment group, on a Valkyrie, it just fits

i think things really get lost in Asian/English/Euro translation.
while living in Korea, many store not near a post had english print on their signs...
of note, there was "donkey fried chicken" and a high end clothing store (selling corperate wear) called   "so f*cking lovely"

I decided I was going to buy me a new bike, looked int harley, and somewher it clicked in my head thatI want an engine with more than 2 cylinders. started looking into it and harleys only have 2 cylinders.
found a few crotch rockets with 4, there was an old suzuki cruser with 4. I couldn't understand why there weren't more, the goldwing had 6, I seriously though about the goldwing, then I found out about the Valkyrie. made by honda in a tennasee plant. It was then I decided this was my next bike. looked for one. found one for sale by me. been in love with it since! It is heaven, or the closest you'll come to it on earth!

send him a picture of you in his shirt, it will probably bring a smile to his face (I know how much I love new pictures of my pet)

Harleys only have 2 cylinders because they only need 2.... thats the purpose of the most beautiful invention in the world, the V-Twin engine... but then I can admit that spending most of my childhood in harley shoppes may have made me abit biased :P
