mmmmmmm...i nearly bought chocolate milk yesterday...i had to throw away all the 7-year-old pancake mix after i got here...i'm taking care of her till she dies, but i don't want to hasten her demise by feeding her ancient food...

that's not the half of it...she's moved into her late husband's home nearly 20 years ago & i found a huge can of kidney beans in the far deep reaches of a cupboard that she says must have been there from before she moved here! edited because i apparently can't hit all the keys hard enough for them to register

there was some substance spilled in there in about 1955, i think...there were bugs preserved perfectly in it...& were you aware that if you leave ice cream in a freezer long enough it will grow mold? science experiments abound up here LOL

she is truly a wonderful person & she did give birth to my best friend & love of my life, so she deserves whatever good she gets!
