Status: offline 		I'm working at Lenscrafters at the Mall near my home.  I love that it's so busy & I get to form short-term relationships with people.  I'm really good at relationships that last for 1/2 hour or so.  Longer than that I have some problems with.    Also, I love helping people to see better.  Having been nearly blind as a child, I think glasses are miracles.

They do this thing called "Gift of Sight" & on Dec 2 I volunteered to help with getting needy folks, including kids, set up with new glasses.  I'm soooo excited about that.  And I get to work this Friday.  I used to love to go to the Mall on the day after Thanksgiving & just people watch.  This year I get to work it, but not in a store where there's billions of shoppers.

I still remember getting my first pair of glasses, in third grade. I couldn't believe how sharp and clear the world suddenly looked!

Status: offline 		Apparently that was my reaction to my first glasses too.  I remember not wanting to take them off to sleep because I was afraid my dreams would be blurry.  LOL

Cool!!  Can I call you on my break??  The first 4 hours that day will be me & a manager.  I think this is a hoot!  Put the new girl on pretty much by herself.  hehehe
Actually, I think they're saying that they believe I'm good enough.  Also, don't think there will be that much to do from 6am-10am.
