It's delicious! I've usually had chicken or lamb, cooked off the bone in a scrumptious sauce. The food is served on a layer of flat, spongy bread called injera. You use pieces of the injeria, in lieu of untensils, to grab bits of food and eat.

My experience with it is that it does tend to be very spicy though.

I want something that's shiny and throbbing!!

I did find the cat, or rather she came waltzing out of god knows where (I searched the house 7 times, the little shit!) at 8 pm last night. I was SO relieved.

Yes, Kia, i'm moving as soon as they call and tell me i'm at the top of the list for a "senior" apartment.  i'll get about 6 weeks lead time.

i need to get away from this place full of misrepresentaions and lies.

i'm going to move closer to my father to share his later years and be closer to a big city.

cmail me if you want to know more.

Hmmmmm, fluffy, I go thru that kinda stuff one at a time & ask myself, do I really want this particular one? With the idea in the back of my head that whatever I don't want I haul off to Goodwill / Salvation Army, or set out in the communal laundry room in a box marked 'Free', or some similar reuse venue . . . . . Makes it much easier for me to let go of stuff if I think of it as enhancing someone else's life, rather than ending up in the local dump . . . . .

i'm on Freecycle - that's a possible solution for getting rid of stuff.

The trouble with the cookbooks is that i feel comfortable and warm when i look over at the bookcase that holds my cookbooks.  It's a security blanket, i guess.

*abducts the win*

I totally understand, fluffy. Books are about the only things I really collect .. . . . & if the cookbooks give you pleasure just by being there, I'd recommend hanging onto them as much as is reasonable . . . . . . &, yeah, Freecycle was also something I was thinking about . . .. . .
