Yeah, & dreamy & Pomme, one of the tricks is to be persistent & keep re-applying if you get denied. I know that Social Security pretty much routinely turns down perfectly qualified disability cases first thing off . . . . I think the thinking is that if someone is 'really' disabled they'll have no other choice but to keep re-applying, but that if they're not they'll just give up . .. .. . Years ago I knew this single father of a daughter with Down's. He got custody of her when she was ~6 month's old, & he slept in his van in the parking lot of the hospital while she was having corrective heart surgery & he was applying for SS for her. & he was turned down the first time he applied. He re-applied & eventually they awarded the case. So. Hang tough, ladies . . .. . . *holds win while the ladies contemplate*
