Pity you're so far away, Linea. You could keep some boxes in my storage unit. It's only half full.

Spanks, DC.  But a part of this process for me involves letting go of these things that have come to own me.  I am keeping the truly precious things & storing them in the Owners' garage.  The things from my daughter's growing up years, things from my parents, things from my childhood, pictures, etc.  But I gotta let go of the Christmas decorations since they fill my entire storage closet off the balcony of my apt.  That sort of thing.

Thanks for the idea, Fluffy.  Unfortunately, this has to be all finished up & gone by tomorrow evening.  Probably best to just let it go.  I cried for a couple minutes last night with Max.  That helped.  Of course, being a man, he wanted to fix it for me & suggested that I rent a small storage unit & keep more things.  Such a sweet man, for being so evil.  Don't tell him I said that, though.  It would tarnish his image.  *giggle*

I often think of that as I'm battling clutter. I have several boxes of Christmas ornaments, though I haven't had a tree in ages!

I'm working on it bit by bit. Getting a bunch of boxes out of the apartment and into storage was a helpful first step, 'cause it gave me room to breathe and move.

Kudos to Linea and DC for the uncluttering process.  My own de-cluttering has been a long and arduous process, but it's wonderful.  I'm thankful that Thing 2 cares little for "stuff" while Thing 1 wants to keep his "treasures."  With some things coming up in the future, I have decided that there is no reason to keep holding onto a bunch of things that can sit in boxes for years and get no notice from me.  I'm happy that one of my friend's church is giving stuff to the Appalachian Ministries project, so I know that things that I no longer need are going to good use.

*off to de-clutter some more*

Sunday evening here.  Statistics exam on Wednesday.  Last class before the exam is tomorrow.  Tonight is the time to go through the chapter, problems, study guide, and assignments in order to locate any areas of weakness.  If something isn't working right, tomorrow is the time to ask questions.

But first PLAY!!!!  POST!!!!   and ignore Statistics!    i WIN!
