Just keep in mind that the majority of the truck drivers on the road today have less than 1 year experience & haven't driven in this kind of weather. It used to be that you could trust them, but having been out there with them, I know how really badly some of them drive!! Let us know when you gets home, ok??
Actually, as a trucker of 6 years now, it's the ones without experience are the ones going 70-75 on solid ice that you have to worry about. They're the ones you find in the median flipped often having taken a 4-wheeler (truckerspeak for a car, pickup, or other small vehicle) with it and the emergency crews are struggling to carve out a LZ for the helo and get other equipment to the scene. ( I have some horror stories of my own to tell, of accidents I've seen happen or had to stop and help) If we slow down (us experienced truckers) and you decide to follow us, we just ask that you allow some following room enough that we can see you behind us.
