Good Morning, DC! The day outside is gloomy and rainy - an excellent day to spend napping. i think i would like a nice arrangement of daffodils on my coffee table. i'll have to check the grocery store for some next time i can get a ride to do errands (or break down and get a cab). We wont have daffodils for another month, but the grass is greening, the birds are singing and nesting, and the air has hints of warmth that hug you like a lover's arms. I was outside breathing in the spring in the other day, thinking perhaps I looked kind of ridiculous, like when Pocahontas had all the leaves dancing around her in that silly movie? A student walked by me...said..Pocahontas? I just nodded, so did he. Daffodil days, by the way, are when people can purchase a bunch for friends. The money goes to fight cancer. This year I will be buying them in Fluffy's honor.

It's rainy here too. Yesterday i saw lots of robins, but not even the littliest green shoots of daffodils yet...

Nighty night, fluffy. Please have wonderful dreams about daffodils, and kind robins, and good bunnies... Robins are one of the most affectionate birds i know of. i raised one that fell from a nest... it grew up loving it's family so much that she almost refused to go back to the wild when she grew all her feathers... sweet little Abbybird. And she loved mulberries, had a purple splatted room for the longest time.

My daffodils are starting to bloom at home. I hope Mom remembers to take pictures. I have been seeing robins for the past 2 weeks. One more cold snap in April and spring is officially here.
