i think the most well known applications of henna designs is in the Indian community at wedding time.

Good morning all! Hope you find some place to do the henna fluffy. Hope you will also share a pic of it when you do [;)]. So here in SoCal spring has sprung with a vengeance... 85 yesterday. It seems like we only have two seasons, rainy and summer. Get jealous just seeing the pictures of crocus and and daffodils, cause we just don't have them here. Well we do, but only potted ones. Crocus peeking out from under the snow, the sure sign of spring.... kinda special.... and now i am all sentimental. *sigh oh and i WIN

Hi, dragonseeker! i saw you peeking at my profile. My daughter is coming in from San Diego on Monday to be with me for chemo #2. She says the same thing about seasons - there's summer and there's the rainy season.

Yeah... kinda sucks sometimes, but oh well, i moved here lol. Every summer though i start dreaming about moving to Alaska. Awesome that your daughter is coming to support you. Can't help but feel in awe over how positive and happy you are even when going through all this chemo stuff. From being there for my mom when she went through it, i know how 'sucky' it can be.
