Happy Saturday, folks! How's everyone doing today?

ShaharThorne -> RE: Last one to post, wins (5/29/2010 11:05:07 AM)

Still sleepy on my end...I blame the meds...

dcnovice -> RE: Last one to post, wins (5/29/2010 11:07:06 AM)

I'm kinda sleepy too.

ShaharThorne -> RE: Last one to post, wins (5/29/2010 11:44:33 AM)

Mom is after my ass for falling asleep in front of the computer.

Whatever the sleeping pill is, I want it to be prescribe to me for forever...LOL!

WIN.

i had an epiphany today. The designers of jeans only put sizes on the tags to mess with our minds. 'Tried on two size 5's. One was falling off my hips, and i could not zipper the other. [&:]

You know the makers of plus-size clothing have started a new system of labeling, right?  Now, instead of XL, XXL, XXL, and so on, they just put numbers (1, 2, 3...) on the tags.  A '5' is the same as XXXXXL and the only way to know the difference is to check the tag for Jr, Ms, or W.  I've found plus sizes (W) put back in the wrong place so a 4W is mixed in with the 4Ms.  [&:]

I win, at last, but being last, alas, cannot last.

We had a special time... not much BDSM/TPE ... just a lot of rest and talk of the future.

THE FUTURE ...what wonderful words.
i HAVE A FUTURE!  i WIN!!!  i WILL GET WELL AGAIN.

Happy WINs for fluffy.[:)]

Does anyone know the difference between Misses' clothing and Jrs' clothing ?

i was told long ago that anything sized with an odd number was meant for females that hadn't had children, and evenly sized clothing was for females that had children. As the gestation really does change the dimensions of the body . Was anyone else told this ?

fluffypet61 -> RE: Last one to post, wins (5/30/2010 12:43:10 PM)

i was told Petite was shorter from shoulder to waist than Misses.  Junior is 2 inches smaller in bust and hip than Misses.

FelineFae -> RE: Last one to post, wins (5/30/2010 1:00:19 PM)

Thank you, fluffy. That'll be good to keep in mind.

My experience is that jrs' has styles and colors that are fun, but the garments are made of cheap material and not as nicely sewn. They're only meant to last for the season that they "are in".

While misses' clothing has a more classic though bland styling, it's fabrics are higher quality as is it's construction. The petite department seems much the same. But again, it can be boring.

i guess i can't call it boring, it's fun to learn about. [:D]

Friday an young female friend wanted me to try on a flapper dress. Master told her it wouldn't fit, but we indulged her because she insisted the color would be pretty with my pale skin and currently black hair. i measure at 36D-26-36, guess how well that went ! [&:] Though it was a beautiful emerald green...

fluffypet61 -> RE: Last one to post, wins (5/30/2010 1:03:37 PM)

ohhhhh, i want a flapper dress!

FelineFae -> RE: Last one to post, wins (5/30/2010 1:06:30 PM)

Yep yep yep. We will be happy for that picture in your profile. With the feather head band and your beautiful public collar. [:D]
And the beaded purses... So much cuteness !

Junior sizes are what girls in highschool wear.  The thing about no kids isn't accurate.  Juniors are for girls who are still in puberty.  Misses are for women past puberty.  Juniors are usually an in-between size, hence the odd numbers.  Ms. sizes run 2, 4, 6, etc.  If you wear a 5 in Jrs. you will probably wear a 6 in Ms. but it will depend on the way the clothing is cut.  You might take a 4 for things that run a bit larger.

It's easy to understand why some people don't like shopping.

i think on it as treasure hunting.[&:]

fluffypet61 -> RE: Last one to post, wins (5/30/2010 2:54:21 PM)

All i shop for anymore is groceries.  i have enough clothes to last me for a while.  Anyway i have to get all purchases approved by Master Rich.  It's ok.  i save a lot of money that way.

FelineFae -> RE: Last one to post, wins (5/30/2010 3:11:44 PM)

One can be creative and expressive with food and clothing, that would be the important matter to me.[;)]

FelineFae -> RE: Last one to post, wins (5/30/2010 3:29:06 PM)

Well, the last two Cmails i've recieved from unknown males have both mentioned how simple my profile was, then listed their yahoo id's for chatting. Of course i deleted them without responce.[sm=pushed.gif] Lol.
