anywhere from 300 to 650, give or take...tomorrow, i only have to drive 250 or so to deliver...but once the load is delivered, i think they'll come up with more miles for me to cover [:)]

that is pretty personal, all right [:D] my last delivery was pasta to Uncle Ben...guess he got tired of rice...the one tomorrow is empty Lean Cuisine boxes... ahhhhh....the glamourous life of the long haul trucker!!!

this truck is governed so that it can't go any faster than 65 mph, except downhill with a heavy load...a few states still have a 55 mph truck speed limit, so i figure when i plan a trip that i will only average 50 mph, including hills, stops, etc...i just have a lot of really looooong days sometimes.....

i got a ride in a big truck when i was 16 & decided then & there that i wanted to drive one...life interfered & after about 40 years went by, my ex & i got back together & he was driving, so i went to school & he "trained" me...i've run team with him & another guy, but i prefer the solo life...as a solo, i actually get to stop the truck!! my very brilliant Father's only career advice to me: doesn't matter what you do, just make sure you're having fun...and when it isn't fun anymore, quit & go find something else that is.......
