Oh sure it was hilarious......
Okay so those of you who know much about me know that I injured my back and doing physical therapy to hopefully heal.... So while I do therapy I am on light duty. Well I work in a restaurant, The Olive Garden to be exact and I am a waitress, well waitress on light duty= hostess.... Okay so now we are all on that page, so I can move on...... So I went to work today and we had a reservation for 40 people for a seminar, there were two servers scheduled to work the seminar. Only one of them showed up and my boss knows that I love huge parties I thrive on the requirement for interaction and he comes to me to ask if I could possibly help out my co-worker. I, who hates hostessing, of course jump at the opprotunity..... Well the seminar is an Amerilife Insurance Company pitching their insurance to a room full of 50+ people...... They were friendly we got their drinks and took their orders then the seminar began and when they were ready to eat they notified us...... We served their meals and came back with boxes and prebussed our tables etc..... Now mind you the seminar has come to a close everyone is leaving and a table of four older women remains..... One of the Amerilife reps approaches and they begin conversing....... They joke back and forth for quite sometime and then apparently, one of the women is highly offended by something the rep said and tells him, in what still seems a joking manner, to "get away from me or I will beat you with my cane!" He chuckles a bit and we are still trying to clean and are giggling under our collective breaths.... He replies yet again jokingly "Oh hit me with your cane....chuckle chuckle" Suddenly this woman jumps out of her chair and is chest to chest with this man her cane between them shoving him around and yelling "You are a sorry SOB.....blah blah.... I will beat the shit out of you with this thing!" Well you see now the rep is upset himself and he responds "Hit me with it, I fucking dare you, you old bitch!" She continues shoving him and goes on to tell him he is a wortless prick....... Finally a colleague of his approaches and draws him away telling him it is not worth it and he removes himself from the situation. Meanwhile there are three of us standing around trying to pick our jaws back up off the ground and not fall down laughing...... She left and then decided to come back and see My general manager as if he could do anything..... The rep was notified by his superior to call the authorities and file a report and they needed us to stick around to tell our side of the story as we saw it...... Holy shit my day went from dammit I have to be here, to well hell It was worth it after all....... LMAO......
So this is my "Listen to this story from working here" was it funny guys?
