I had to go to the ER earlier tonight bc I have been dealing with muscle spasms in my back for weeks and I needed to get something for pain.  The muscle relaxer and the anti-inflammatory weren't quite kicking the pain, so they gave me pain killers to help ease it a bit.  It's funny bc the dr asked me how long it had been going on before I went to my GP this week and I told him about a month.  He asked if I always had such a high pain tolerance.  I had to hold back the snicker...

Status: offline 		LMAO...yeah, i know that one...one time i went to a Dr & told her that i had severe shoulder pain for weeks...after looking at the xrays, she asked me how much i could move it...i said, "with the pain?" & did a full circle...she was amazed, cause the amount of arthritis i had, she said by that time, most people's shoulders don't move at all...giggle...of course, it helps to be Norwegian.....

Status: offline 		~ Raises hand for the IV Demerol, but only so much bc it's connected to the painful shoulder/back thing ~

I don't have the IV Dem. going on but I do have Vicodin in tablet form coursing through my body and I must say, that I am feeling much better than I was about 6 hours ago.

I feel so good that I'll just slip over there and snag that win from you.

Status: offline 		The lady across the hall from me got a shot of Tordal.  I listened to her conversation before and after the shot, and I just had to giggle to myself at how the level of the discussion sorta tanked about 10 minutes later.

Status: offline 		I had to take Percocet after having surgery 7 years ago and my mom was sitting on my bed that had a blue comforter on it.  I must have thought it was water because apparently, I kept telling my mom to stay in the boat so she didn't fall in.

Status: offline 		It's one of those funny things that I remember about my mom and I, and how she took care of me (even as a grown-up), when I made no sense whatsoever...  she just went with the flow.  Bless her heart.
