cybersport -> Looking for a KNot tying expert :) (6/2/2004 4:14:32 AM)

Good morning all. Thanks to all for the responses to my last post and their suggestions. I'm wondering if there is a lady on this site who is looking to practice or fine tune her rope work.

I would enjoy the challenge of trying to free myself from bondage, or the ties of someone who uses knots in her vanilla life (fisherman? sailor? camper?)

Looking forward to hearing from some of you. Thank you all.

Hey seriously, please do KNot forget "macrame artisians", as those hanging plants have KNot escaped yet! [;)]

Can KNot forget rock climbers. They rely very heavily on their knots (knot to out do inyou).

Actually yeah I am wanting to work on my rope skills - eventually I'll get around to it.

But if you aren't in Northern California, it's kinda moot.

Such a knotty thread [:D]

Rope is a funny thing. Remembering both learning and teaching how to tie basic knots.... the human brain has such a hard time learning to think purely linearly (but in curves).

It's too bad we're all spread around the country. I'd love to test my ropin' skills and tie ya up Sport and then let ShadeDiva and MizSuz have at ya.

You'd be there until I demonstrated how to break the back of a Bowline [:)]

Thanks for the response, yeehaw, but I'm looking for a female exclusively.. Perhaps the subject line should have read "Looking for a FEMALE Knot tying Expert."

Well I can do knots well enough that most ain't getting loose.

But it's UGLY, LOL!

I wanna make it look PRETTY!

Therefore - I need to work on my ropeskills.

Allow me to offer my services as your test subject :). Now all we have to do is cover 3,000 miles.

So I guess giving you the contact information for a local Boy Scout troop (who are also experts on knot tying; I have the merit badge...) is out of the question.
