I vastly prefer to be hairless and to have a male that is hairless too. Over the past 6 months of upheaval, Master and I got out of the shaving habit ... and I really didn't like the tangles down there! And it made sucking Him a bit trickier too, with the occasional break to spit out stray hairs. Not so romantic! So a real birthday treat for me was a mutual shaving session! We find it easier to do each others lumps and bumps, so much easier to see, and therefore feels safer. I'd rather trust He who can see than me who is waving a razor blindly around my sensitive bits! Being a kinky Avon lady, I have a shower first, and use their pre-shave wash to make sure the area is scrupulously clean. Master and I have decided old fashioned shaving soap and brush and NEW razors are the best option. Have a bowl of warm water handy to rinse the razor very often and work from top to bottom and outside in. Finish with a nice gentle wipeover with a fresh warm facecloth. I then use Avon's post-depilatory moisturiser and that seems to help a lot. I still get the odd pimple in the next few days ... but Master just loves that LOL! (Anyone else do pimples as bdsm play??). I tend to just make sure I am very dry before getting dressed, with a fresh towel, allowing some air-drying time or even using the hair dryer on warm to dry out the skin folds around legs etc rather than using powder. I have a tendency to a yeast-like fungal infection in skin folds so have to be wary of powder. Good luck! Maam Jay aka violet[A]

OH boy I wish I had read this thread a few weeks back. I love the feeling of being shaved but I hate shaving and go thru phases of it reminding myself everytime why I should keep it up, I hate the regrowth itch, sooooooo I thought I would try nair, I bought the sensitive skin version with aloe, did a skin patch test and waited till the next day,, everything seemed to be ok, so I slathered it all over, making sure nothing went on the pink bits. left it for the required time and then jumped into the shower, woooooooooo hooooo all smooth and silky. Woke up the following morning and I screamed,....... from the crack in my ass to the top of my mons was a burning screeching nightmare, swollen and raw, worse in the creases of my thighs ..... it hurt for three days, I looked like I had ridden from one end of the country to the other, bowlegged and no knickers, I felt so sexy, NOT!!!! and by the time the pain was gone and things were feeling ok again, the bloody hair had started to regrow. So I guess Im back to shaving again, altho I will be looking at trying the different things mentioned here, so thanks for all the advice. Oh and Maam Jay I really enjoy popping zits, no matter where they are, and I would love to have a partner who would reciprocate on a regular basis. I also like peeling off sunburned skin on other people. its just another lil kink of mine:) Again thanks for the advice everyone Lucy

My partner and I have tried trimming the weeds for now and it seems to be working out fine. OF course having him trim the hair and then wash Me up after then get to feasting is a brilliant thing. Definitely get the Brazilian wax instead. It will get the spots around your labia and anus that shaving can't reach, and the smoothness is far, far beyond what even the best shave could deliver.

It was fun to read the posts re: Shaving. I like to do whatever I am in the mood for. I save the totally shaved days for a special event where I give it as a gift for my partner and myself, as it feels sooo sensitive, every sense is heightened! Shazaaam... I use a single razor, usually with the soft conditioning lotion built in to the razor. Twice over, no more. A lot of products out there aren't good for skin that is sensitive, no matteer what they claim on the front of the bottle. I have sensitive skin and the depilatories burn, and leave after-burn no matter what I have done, short times with cream on, bath instead of shower, etc. It's fun to change it up, shaved, trimmed, soft and bushy, depending on my mood. Re: Guys shaving anywhere. For contact that is regular, as in almost every day, I do NOT like shaved. The baby stubblies can be the worst kind of friction and can limit the amount of time for play. I love to have a man mix it up for his face, beard, goutee, and mustache. Might be an all day stubble, kind of soft and scratchy at the same time. Then a shave before round 2. One hour clean as a babies butt, the next some stubble which is good for added friction, all the way to soft and never longer than an inch.4 men in one. <snicker> I like a woman to mix it up also, and never longer than an inch. I know, I digress, and guilty as charged. (grins) M Irish

If I want to avoid a punishment I shave each and every day. If Master finds a single hair below my neck he plucks it with a pair of twezzers and gives me twenty lashes for each hair found. Doesn't take long to learn.

I bet it's not very easy for a MAN to find a place that will give him a Brazilian wax. Does anybody know of places for this? How about in the Boston area? I think a domme taking a sub in for a Brazilian wax could be a great pre-scene, or even a scene itself!

as a beginner shaver stay away from the veet, start with the labia shave, trim method. you will get bumps, when I started shaving years ago I would put desitin on afterwords and it really helped me not break out. I love the landing strip, tightly shorn, I don't know, I just don't want my guy picking hair out of his teeth-personal opinion but I know some LOVE hairy bush.

I really believe some Males are like the Sampson and Delhila. Any such triming would be shear nonsence... But i have been in a converstion about the Brazillian wax, I cant seem to get the thought of passing out from the pain off my mind.
