I swore he killed an elephant that went rouge in a circus... anybody kno what I'm thinking of?

How does an elephant go "rouge"? Is that like elephant crossdressing? (sorry)

philosophy -> RE: girl4u & CL - Welcome to the future (5/28/2007 10:28:49 AM)

Afterwards the elephant was so embarassed he went red...hence rouge :)

That was sweeeeeet!!

I had already realized the difference between me, and those who don’t believe. While, they will only believe what they see and know to be true; I refuse to eliminate anything that is not impossible. I’ve been told most of my life, nothing is impossible.

It seems as though, as visionary as some scientist can be, they too can be limited to what they know.

I have often wondered what life would be like if we were able to use all of our brains, instead of the extremely small amount it is believed we do use.

I’m thinking, the sky’s the limit, and it appears to me, that it goes on forever.

k

now about that faster-than-a-speeding-light thang??

Here is the supporting theory havent stumbled across the example yet but you can easily imagine i suppose:

Superluminal and Subluminal Signals In the appendix to Space TIme and Gravitation, V. Fock demostrated that singular solutions to Maxwell's Equations of electrodynamics satisfied the eikonal expression, a quadratic partial differential equation with signature {+++-}. Mappings which preserved the eikonal, taking a discontinuity in E field to a discontinuity, were of two and only two types. A linear type which Fock proved was the Lorentz group of transformations . This result is the foundation of special relativity.
The other mapping was a non-linear Mobius projective transformation. In the linear mapping, it can be argued that the propagation speed of the singular solutions must be a constant. (The ubiquitous c - the speed of light). For the non-linear mapping the propagation speed of the singularity can be anything - including infinity. !!!
In optically active media, the propagation speed of the discontinuities is faster or slower that the speed of light, depending on the whether or not the helicity (circular polarization) is aligned or anti-aligned with the optical axis.

Blah, you guys are being silly.

The invention of Telsa's is used today.  In demonstrations.

It has a lot of bugs.  Not that the video mentions them.

errr what bugs?  Do cite them!

Ok check this out.....

i go out and get the proofs that c, which is the speed of light is not the fastest possible speed anymore than than breaking the sound barrier was when i was a kid.   Now you would think people wold be over joyed to hear this because that means that the star ship enterprise can in fact become a very real deal, complete with warp drive scotty me laddy and the lot!!

It should also be a flag to those in the academics who should now realize that they are in fact being taught only 1/2 the story, physics revised to to suppress by simply not taking forward the information, or the FULL story limiting you all to the hertzian world when warp drive awaits!  Over unity awaits, free energy awaits.....and if that is suppressed by ommission it also should be a flag to ask the question what else has been suppressed by "ommission"?

Trekies all heard of singularities they talk about it in damn near every show LOL  Anyway i have to say that i am rather surprised that no one has bothered to comment on this....   maybe everyone knew that the speed of light was NOT the speed limit and this is simply old hat news huh?  Then again maybe everyone is hoping that going faster than the speed of light will give them time travel or such nonsense...   i suppose i can only guess why posting a "there is no speed limit" sign would get no attention.
