Sorry if i have posted this in the wrong place - does anyone know of a tattooist that would be willing to adorn my ample flesh with art under scene conditions (me being securely restrained in some way by my Master). Uk based - any help welcome!!!

i think all tattooists are 'kink' and BDSM aware. You need to ring round a few and ask them, they not as scarey as they sometimes look lol. The one who is doing my new tattoo is very aware of the lifestyle as his apprentice has an aunt who is a Pro-Domme.

Whether they will allow their 'canvas' to be tied whilst they do their work is another matter and i expect down to the individual tattoo artist, they may wish to have a couple of meets beforehand with Your Master and you. Alternatively, have you thought of one of the clubs, BBB perhaps may have someone there or they may know of someone.

I'm not from the UK, but I have some general advice for you, based on tattooists I know in the States.

Yes, most tattooists are probably pretty kink aware. That being said, the best approach should be honesty. Make it clear form the the get-go that you don't need them to do a lot more than they normally would, just in slightly different setting. Also make it clear to them that though you want to be tied down, you understand that actually struggling while being tattooed is a very bad idea, and that you won't behave any differently than you would getting a tattoo under normal circumstances.

When you're talking to prospective artists, you actually want them to show a few reservations. Any tattooist that doesn't have specific questions regarding your safety and how the restraints might affect the tattoo process and finished product is not the right person for the job. As with any tattooing, you want someone who will be engaged in this and looking out for you.

Not trying to burst your bubble or anything, BUT................

Your profile says you have a Dom who isn't too involved with you and you're looking for a playmate. So who is this Master you refer to ?  Your journel infers that you have had trouble finding a Dom and about 5 months ago you were going to " give up".

Based on your profile and journel, are you sure you want to permanantly ink your body for someone you have presumably known for a short time or some one who has little to do with you?

Hi what part of the U.K are you ?  I know a couple of mobile tattooists who I would say are kink friendly.  One tattoed Masters Bitch on a friend of mine so I guess they are pretty open minded[:)]

Its not just about being tattooed by a fetish friendly tattooist, its about being tattooed well.
There are plenty of kink friendly tattooists in the UK but some of them are not good at what they do and I know of at least two that are not certified tattooists (even though they say they are) Make sure you see their certificate and make sure they are up to par with health and safety.

These people are good.

Thanks for all the advice so far- I shall certainly be following up those leads. And just to clarify - the tattoo will be my second, is my own choice, not my Master's, and will just be for decoration, not as a permanent ownership mark. I have been scening with him for five years and we both really like the sound of incorporating my tattoo into a bondage scene, especially as i got "all spacey" when my first was done!!!
