Level I recently bought this 2 DVD Led Zeppelin set. It has 5 and a half hours of them live. It is great, I did not want to spend 25 bucks on it, but it is worth every cent and more.

EG, I have it too; and yes, it's incredible [:D]. I'm a huge Zep fan, and the vids met every hope I had for them.

Thanks Level, just what I needed in a cruch time study marathon. I keep chanting 3 weeks to go, 3 weeks to go.

I loved the instrumental of willow. Not a huge Elvis fan myself but the man was drop dead sexy in the early years but I do love that song. Go figure! Thank you...I'll list some more when I have something besides physics and radioactive isotopes on my brain.

domiguy -> RE: Level's jukebox (6/4/2007 3:12:09 PM)

Love the song "Year of the Cat"..."while she looks at you so cooly, and her eyes shine like the moon on the sea...."

How about something stupid and silly like ..."Hey Leonardo"

or Vertical Horizon "Everything you Want"

lastly Matchbox 20's...."Unwell"

Feeling rather corny and pussyfied at the moment....Very UnDomly songs...lol.

I haven't heard Year of the Cat in years. Wow. What a memory that is. damn.

I'm thinking I need a good dose of Cake and I Will Survive Level.

I am attempting to resist scouring amazon for the new Sinatra box set that the WSJ wrote an article on recently. Must. Pay. Tuition. No. Touching. 401K. arrgggggh.

You're quite welcome. Agreed on the Elvis tune, that and "In The Ghetto" are really the only two of his that I like.

Cake - Frank Sinatra

           The Distance

           I Will Survive

Al Stewart kicked ass with three songs, including the above mentioned.

I also like On The Border  and Time Passages.

matchbox 20 - Unwell  and 3 AM

Vertical Horizon - Everything You Want (killer song)

Blessed Union of Souls - Hey Leonardo

Some Zevon:

On Letterman talking about his cancer briefly, and a homage

Excitable Boy

Keep Me In Your Heart For Awhile

My Shit's Fucked Up

There's a book called "The Last Days of Dead Celebrities" Fascinating book actually and Warren Zevon is a part of the list. It discusses how he was determined to complete My Ride is Here prior to his death. I think My favorite of his have to be Angel Dressed In Black. Keep Me In Your Heart, Heartache Spoken Here, Something Bad Happened To a Clown never fails to make me cry. As does Please Stay. someone once said that everytime they hear She's Too Good For Me they think of me. That makes me cry too.

Thanks for the memories they all bring with them. Smiling through tears, bittersweet. Time to go put Warren on rotation.

Ahhh I'm tired but I needed a moment of something else. Thank you.
