Foreplay is great.  How I define foreplay can encompass a ton of things though and not all of them are, I guess, a traditional sense.  Afterplay...well I might be in the minority of women here but I like afterplay to entail a bed, pillows and off to our corners for sleep. Maybe afterplay also includes him making me breakfast in the morning?

As long as you're getting what you need, then it's good.

I agree for me that it's contextual.  Sometimes those things are great, somethings they are just distractions.  Sometimes I want hours of fun, sometimes I want a quick burst.

Sure, foreplay and afterplay are both great, I even wake up more after sex and am ready for more, any guy that's just in a hurry to stick it in and get off is missing a lot of the finer points lol, kissing I think is the most erotic thing.....

For me it is something i use and enjoy.  To me bdsm always intesifies not only the pleasure, but the bond, and the feelings that result as well.  So "after care" to me is just the part of a loving relationship and in my opinion any loving and good top's "job".  As someone who has always been called a pleasure Dominant or Sensual Dominant i have always viewed forplay with alot of interest as it can be ever bit as fufilling as sex itself as the possibilites are as endless for fun as sex itself.  An as most know it can only make the fun to come even more fun for the submissive (assuming both are wired that way) in the long run.  The key is just to find the other half who views this similarly as in any good relationship you want to find a ballance, and have them have similar passions and interests, i think this falls into that.

It depends on my mood. If I feel like playing around beforehand or after, then we do. If I don't feel like it, we don't. Pretty simple.

I view foreplay and afterplay as more tools to use!  Foreplay can be hot as hell at times.. other times lets get down to business.  Same thing with afterplay.  Oh Hell it's all Good.   There have been times when I did a lot of teasing in what appeared to be foreplay, and put off taking it anywhere.  Sneaky devil that I am. 

Foreplay.. Ohhh yes... I love slowly transforming words and building them up in foreplay as well... Going from from Mr. Nice and slowly sliding into Mr. Nasty mode.

I thought about afterplay or that cool down, as of late, it involves my inhaler, trying to breathe and that lighheaded feeling of 'damn, when can we do that again.' Throw in a water bottle and some nosensical stuff coming from me, normal, cuddling ends up almost as a given or the light touches and purrrrrrrrrrrring. All good.

To domiguy and LordandMaster :oP ~ Foreplay will and can usually get you basically anything you want, at least as far as I am concerned, if the foreplay and that build are are great, I am putty in the guy's hands and open for just about anything. The afterplay, will get you an encore later and maybe something else ;o) later.

Postplay is more important to me than foreplay, because it lets me know he is happy with what just happened.

I love foreplay, but sometimes just good raw sex is just what I need.  On the other hand, if it's been good, I always want aftercare.
