Did you folks know Amazon carries Tantus silicone dildos, many about half price? Since jelly dildos do that toxic offgas thing, this may be the time to update the dildo collection! *goes back to ordering*

That's funny, Amazon lists "pornography" as one of the items that cannot be listed for sale on their site--and this is how they define pornography:

I used my debit card to get them. You might want to talk with your bank and see if you can get one linked to your checking account. Other than that, get a Visa gift card and use it when you need to purchase things online.

I have Paypal linked to my checking account, apparently Amazon wants funds by cheque or money order drawn on an American bank, I am a Canadian too far from the border to make it economically viable to go over the border and open an account. Drat.

You've got to ask yourself why they feel it necessary to have such a policy. I understand the whole services thing, as they were having "women" promising cam sex or online domination, taking the pay pal payment and vanishing. But why not the goods? Why do they feel they are arbiters of my morals? I already use paypal as little as possible. I think I'll start looking for alternatives to using them at all.

Maybe I'm being too optimistic, but I have to say that over the past couple of months I have seen the beginnings of a backlash against all the hypocrisy, moralism, and religion rhetoric that has dominated American politics for at least four years. I think the turning point was the Terry Schiavo case. Time will tell.

sub4 I've read some dildo toy articals and they say jelly toys aren't safe because it's always putting off gas or something look up Jelly dildo safte hazards.

Ms Beach, there's this one site I looked at they sad avoid tantus toys because they run on watch batteries.

What's the problem with watch batteries other than the price? And I don't use the Tantus dildos as vibrators. I'm using them in a strap on harness.

BeachMystress, thank you for the information. Stern's website seems to be in German (only) which is reasonable for a German magazine, but a little disappointing.

I did find a short summary of the article in an online forum:
