I asked Valyraen if straight men get pedicures. His response, "What's a pedicure?"

I guess not in this case!

Edited because Valyraen told me to: He says that now that he knows what one is, he'd probably get one. And I have no doubts whatsoever about his heterosexualilty!

hell yea, I like my toes to feel good too !
I've never gone to a salon for one, but it wouldn't
bother me. I've spent enough time in them already
sniffing that stuff, might as well get something done
while I'm sitting there waiting......

Do straight women wear jeans?

All the dress and styling rules of what "makes" a man -- #1 among them often being a real man doesn't give a damn about such things -- are arbitrary conventions. Most of the conventions of what makes a lady have been overthrown. In the 19th C. a woman needed 'proof of necessity' and police permission to wear pants in Paris. That's Paris, not Afghanistan.

Of course I'm writing from L.A., so y'all can doubt whether we got any real men out here anyway. Unless of course you've ever eaten sushi, or like mexican food. In that case, your destiny is sealed. All trends eventually find there way out of here, and more and more men in L.A. are doing the mani-pedi-facial thing. Of course, I'm from the midwest originally and I admit first pedicure was a pretty strange experience. Go ahead give it a try.

And to put this in perspective...
Truth is, men have always been the one's to go in for elaborate grooming, make-up, hairdos ... think of the word "Chieftan", Celtic, Native American, African ... all dressed up and showing off.

All this real man stuff is silly anyway. Men do you shave? 'Nuf said, you might as well cut off your testicles. The only ones who know what a 'real man' is today, in the traditional sense are the Taliban, and they're idiots. They've got old skool sense of what makes a man (don't shave) and what makes a woman. No economy either. Hitler had a pretty good idea of gender roles and his advisors had to beg him to loosen up or lose the war. He didn't think women should work outside the home.

America kicked Nazi ass not only because we had brave boys, but because our boys were brave enough to let the girls put on jeans and build the bombers. So, who's afraid of pedicures?

I thought pedicures were against TOS. I rather thought that it was something that was discussed only by priests in the sachristy.

I go to school for that sort of thing and yes, we do give them to straight guys..along with manicures also. I for one prefer a straight man that doesn't mind getting a pedicure, to one that has their feet all yucky and still expects you to kiss them.

Look, there are several things straight men don't do and pedicures is one of them. Some others are....

1.) In a row of urinals stand next to another guy when ones are available farther away. (It's the "one urinal separation: rule)

2.) When standing at a urinal next to another guy (in non-violation of above), NEVER look down and if you do it better only be straight down!

Oh, and we don't "courtesy flush" either.....

yes, some straight men do get over the stigma and take the plunge feet first.

I have known straight jew men who get manicures and have clear polish put on them. I don't know about the pedi, but I would imagine some do. It's a personal turn off for me. Men should be men instead of trying to be chicks.

Sure I love getting manicures and pedicures...I am a diabetic so careful look sees of my feet and care is important...A good soakie is good for them ol"tired feet...bounty
