i have encountered this a couple of times already this week, but find it amusing: When i have spent time playing, or just hanging out with one other sub and a Dom, it is sometimes difficult to move quickly. Perfect example: over Memorial Day weekend when i got to attend the Shabaricon conference, my bottom friend and i hung out with a Domme, and the two of us were constantly offering to help her out: can i get the door for you? NO, can I get the door for you? and so on.... Just wondering what other anecedotes folks may have about too many subs/switches/Dom/mes in one room and/or play space. cheers, ~rain~

midear Rain- I think that MizSuz has a photo somewhere of about forty people on their knees before us........ Actually, it was a holiday party at her club, and the pinyata had just bee broken <g>. At a NY area event (NY Power Exchange Valentines party) a few years back, A friend, Dirk, had his girl Sarah wearing a little Earplug radio that he had the mike for. At various times through the weekend, he'd speak some command into it ['Kneel!'], and across the room, she would. The following year we conspired to set him up- I'd engage him in conversation, ask him about it, and mention that I'd been thinking of getting one, as 'this thing just isn't the same'- 'this thing' being a bosun's whistle, which I would then blow. Everyone was in one the joke, and the entire dungeon/ballroom would go to thier knees- Except Chuck, the host, who would look around, say oh shit, and throw himself at my feet (Chuck is about 6'6" and all around Big). I'd look calmly at Dirk-"I's just not , you know, selective." Stay warm, Lawrence

A number of years ago, I went to a D/s "pig roast" I brought a couple of male slaves with me, but I turned out to be the only Domme there, the rest were Doms and their subs/slaves. So I set mine to work setting up the camp area for us. The pig was christened sub bill and everyone sat down and started talking about new play, events, etc. As the sun started its downward slide I wondered when they were going to start cooking this whole pig, and looked around, no pit had been dug, no huge smoker in evidence. Apparently my sweet males noticed this also. So very very politely one of them went over to the owner of the pig and asked "sir, how do you plan to cook this pig?" He looked up with a blank expression and said "well with fire." My male didn't change the expression on his face, but tried again. "sir, are you going to cook it over an open fire on a spit or bury it under coals?" The Dom looked around and said "We're going to cook it with fire." In the end a pit was dug, a spit rigged up we ate at about 10 oclock that night. I haven't attended another roast although I know they have had several more since then. On occassion I hear from the slave that posed the question, he still quips, "with fire, Ma'am.
