From what the OP states, there isn't an inherent hate of anyone and there isnt an adversory or aggression - he simply has a fantasy on being a boy - so I wouldn't suggest Oedipus on such little info.

That would be more female worshiping the son figure, than a boy worshipping his mother and it isn't a conscious behaviour.
To the OP -
No you aren't strange or a freak (in a bad way anyway) - it does occur and isn't totally rare, just spoken about alot less for some reason.
