German police "free" S&M sex slave from car boot Thu Jun 2,11:45 AM ET

BERLIN (Reuters) - German police, alerted to a potential kidnapping, "freed" a man from a car boot only to discover the would-be victim was actually a willing sex slave, authorities said on Thursday.

Police stopped the car after a concerned caller told them he had seen a woman locking someone in the boot. However, on opening it, they were greeted by the sight of the 39-year-old man wearing nothing but a leather thong and a collar.

"It turned out they were a couple from the S&M scene. The 'mistress' was driving, with the slave in the boot," said a police spokesman in the southern town of Bayreuth.

Deciding the rear of the car was not safe for the man, officers told him to sit inside the car and sent the pair on their way.

Actually, the police showed some remarkably good common sense in that situation for recognizing a consensual situation. Maybe the couple involved were both better than average at articulating themselves too.

Never stage a kidnapping scene unless you have given some thought as to what to do and say if the police pull you over.

I have a feeling this would be a bigger deal in the US. I bet they would have charged her with something. Germany doesn't seem to have as big a problem with BDSM.

personally, i'd say it's going too far to strap someone on to a car wheel and drive them about town, but i guess that's just me and my common sense.

in the United States, a boot is something affixed by cops to the wheel of a car to keep the car from going anywhere until fines are paid. in the UK and other parts of Europe, a boot is a trunk.

this woman had Her sub tied up in the trunk of her car. i don't think he was affixed to a wheel, unless he was tied to the spare.

a car boot is also a garage... it took me a long time to figure out what a "Car Boot Sale" was.

a car boot isn't a garage - but a car boot sale is basically anything you can fit into or sell out of the boot(luggage section of the car)of your car. Its a bit like a jumble sale, where people sell from the 'boot of the car' - a garage sale is anything sold out of your garage.

Just to note too - a 'fanny' in the uk is better known as a womans vagina, not her ass

well, there you go! i thought i had it figured out. *l* and my dad is living near Coventry. but hey, i only follow about half of what he says, anyway. *lol* thank you for the lesson. i can always stand to learn something new. (or at least unlearn when i am wrong)
