You're definitely not alone. Look for a local bdsm friend, or if You are still building those relationships to the point where You can unburden, it might be easier to pick one person whose posts resonate with you and email them privately and ask if You might discuss something more personal. Sometimes its easier for Me to be open online as there's much less likelihood of information I have divulged getting circulated locally and coming back to bite My arse!

None of my friends who I know offline are into the scene, so I generally keep myself to myself. I'm used to dealing with my problems or concerns internally anyway.
